And the chaos is killing me.

Pet Peeve:

It annoys me that iTunes calls "electronic" a genre. "Electronic" is an adjective! Genres are nouns!

Ok, so that's a really bad argument, but still! The genre is "Electronica"! Sheesh!

Of course, this wouldn't annoy me so much if it wasn't for the fact that when I write try to write it into the genre box it auto-completes as "electronic," thus forcing me to write the entire word out, even though I have absolutely no songs tagged with that genre.
*sigh*

Of course, all that said I have things tagged as "Anime," and "Game," and I throw the genre "Ambient" around like nobody's business.

I have no integrity.

(Yay, I'm Peeve Blogging!)

Leaving me with my Michelin Guide.

"When I see a colour or hear a noise, I have direct acquaintance with the colour or the nose." - Bertrand Russell (According to this book anyway)

Wee! Typos!

Nous avons l'or rectifié et la richesse pour le travail dur!

I think the Australian national anthem should only be sung in mangled French.

Just because it would sound funny.

My memory slips while looking over manuscripts

Today I found out about the joys of the State Library! Unfortunately I did absolutely no work other than getting and reading part of a book from there... *sigh*

Speaking of sigh... *sigh*

Sometimes she would shop and she would show me what she bought.

Best Sibilance Ever!
Except maybe The Sweetly Sleeping Sweeping of the Seine.

I like Sibilance.

I like the word Sibilance.

I like Capital Letters.

Modus Tollens!

I cannot live without books.
I can live.

Therefore, I have books!

In the hole of sincerity

Fun.

On a related note, I'm trying to think up topics for a philosophy essay (I pretty much have free reign for topic, although it's best to somehow tie it into the coursework (A book called Truth & Truthfulness.))

Right now I'm leaning towards an investigation of the notions of Hypocrisy and Integrity... Unfortunately there is a huge amount of literature on the subject of Intergrity, which, given the sooness of this essay's due date, and the other assignments that need doing, worries me.

I'm also considering looking into the concept of Clarity, with questions of whether it could ever be that clarifying a good argument can make it less persuasive, whether clarifying a bad one can make it more so, whether clarity is always a good thing... All that kind of stuff. Unfortunately there's not much literature on that subject all, at least that I can find, so I don't really know where to start researchwise.

I also thought before of doing an essay into various philosophical theories of Truth (The correspondence theory, deflationary theories, etc) but that's starting to interest me less.

Aaaanyway. I think I'll go to the library tomorrow and grab some of those Integrity books. See what I can see see see and all that, what?

At home, at work, at play.

I hate it when I have an idea in the shower and forget it by the time I get out.

Anyway, 0.5 assignments down, 3.5 to go (due within 2 weeks of now, that is).

Warning, this post may contain Woo.

But as for things I really LIKE about this firefox update, I love the fact that now, when it can't open a page due to lack of connection, it sends you to that "Server not found" page, rather than the old method of just having a "Server not found" message box and not preserving the URL you were trying to access, thus possibly giving you absolutely no idea of what page you were trying to load if you're doing a whole lot of tabbed browsing.

WOO!

Chart position bubbling under, drowning.

I saw Hello Young Lovers, that Sparks album I'm after, in HMV today...

But unfortunately it was an Import. And, as a result, it cost, like, $40. Sure, I'm eager, but I'm also stingy.

I also noticed a new Morrissey album.

Heh. "Morrissey."
