I finally went to see the Fuji Collective yesterday, and I must say, it was pretty damn fabulous. I literally danced like I've never danced before.

In completely unrelated news, I saw Brazil... Just then. For the second time, actually. And though I might be biased, as I just watched it, I would say that it is, in my opinion, the best film I've ever seen. Really. I'm racking my brain. I can't think of any better! As an added bonus, I'm studying it for English. (Edit: I forgot Dr. Strangelove! That just might be better.)

In related news, Ian Holm is cool. He has all these pretty minor roles in all kinds of random stuff, but he sure performs them well! I liked him as King Lear too.

(Random Trivia (According to Imdb.): "JK Rowling originally wanted Gilliam to direct Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone." I think that could have been pretty damn funny.)

Now I have to start work on my English essay... Seems I'm going to do it on Rope, seeing as that's all the video store had in DVD form. 'Sides, it's a great movie. I plan to be somehow relating it to A Modest Proposal though. Which might prove tough. But, well, I do have a whole 2 days to write it.

Everyone (like, on tv and in movies and in Evangelion and whatnot) seems to say that one shouldn't worry about what other people think of one. This is, like, common accepted wisdom in this day and age. Now obviously it's somewhat retarded wisdom, because no one can completely cease to worry about what other people think of them, but I was wondering if following through with this advice would necessitate walking around in public areas talking to yourself. Sometimes I think this is what people that wander around in public areas talking to themselves have done - Followed some basic common wisdom through to it's logical conclusion.

Today was good! It must've been Mondays that were meant to be good, not Sundays! I was obviously all thrown off by the holiday!

Yeah, Sunday is a bit better. Not as good as last Sunday, but better enough. Partly because I kinda sorta have my essays done. I'll need to fix them up a bit... And they kinda suck... But they're done.
